Awardees of the 2020 Urban Teacher Recruitment Grant

We are excited to announce this year’s Urban Teacher Recruitment Grant awardees. While we awarded 20 schools across the country, we also want to recognize all the schools who applied to our inaugural program. We are passionate about meeting the needs of schools across the country and supporting equity in teacher recruitment at high-needs schools. If you'd like to learn more about our grant initiative or help be a part of this solution, please reach out to grants@getselected.com.

Meet Our Awardees

The schools represented adequately demonstrated financial hardship due to COVID-19, adversely impacting their ability to source and recruit talented educators. In addition to compelling application responses, each school awarded serves a significant percentage of students from high needs or low income families in one of Selected’s current regions. Each grantee receives $5,000 in invite credits to use on the Selected platform to connect with and hire from their own curated, pre-vetted pool of teachers and school leaders.
