Early Decision Grantees of the 2020 Urban Teacher Recruitment Grant
The schools represented in our first five grantees each adequately demonstrated financial hardship due to COVID-19, adversely impacting their ability to source and recruit talented educators. In addition to compelling application responses, all five schools serve a significant percentage of students from high needs or low income families in one of Selected’s current regions. Each grantee will receive $5,000 in invite credits to use on the Selected platform to connect with and hire from their own curated, pre-vetted pool of teachers and school leaders.
The grant is still open for applications until 11:59pm June 30, 2020.
And the decision to apply is an easy one! Designed to be a quick submission process for busy schools, you can complete it in one sitting — even on your phone!
We’ll be announcing the full list of 20 grantees no later than July 17, 2020.
