Relaunching the Selected Blog!

Hey everyone,

We’re relaunching the Selected blog to kick off the holiday season! We wanted the content we publish for educators to be more focused, so we’ve set out a mission for ourselves and a few expectations for what you’ll see going forward.

Our mission is to share specific actions, tools, and strategies with educators to inspire personal and professional growth. We aim to facilitate an exchange of actionable ideas and represent a diverse set of perspectives from the education community.

What you can expect:

  1. Concrete takeaways you can use to become a better educator. We respect that you’re professionals and want to give you the means to reflect and improve in your career.

  2. Minimal fluff. We get that you’re busy people and we want to be as direct as possible. Some of the issues we’ll discuss are heavier than others. In these cases, posts will be a bit longer so that they cover these issues with the right degree of depth.

  3. Open ears. We’re always grateful for feedback. There are multiple ways to approach challenges in education; if you have ideas, resources, or opinions you’d like to share, feel free write to us at hello@getselected.com. All correspondence is private—we’ll never publish anything without your permission.

We’re excited to share knowledge from the education community with you! We hope that the insights here can be a good reference guide regardless of what you do or what stage you’re at in your career as an educator.

Cheers,
The Selected Team
